Rostock Civic Centre and HanseMesse Rostock – two venues, one concept

Rostock, the Hanseatic city on the sea, is a shining star for fairs, conferences, conventions, shows and sporting events.

The Stadthalle Rostock (civic centre) and the HanseMesse Rostock (fair centre) are flexibly equipped with modern technology allowing easy variability. The Civic Centre is comprised of 8 halls accommodating 50 to 5,500 visitors. Spacious foyers provide room for accompanying presentations. The Rostock Civic Centre is often host to medical conferences, party conventions as well as diverse political, economic and cultural events. The HanseMesse is comprised of a Fair Hall with 10,600 m² gross floor space, an open area of approx. 20,000 m² and a Conference Rotunda with 6 halls, the largest of which can accommodate up to 300 participants.

Complementing the standard food and beverage offerings, the renowned catering in both venues ensures a culinary treat for banquets, receptions or assemblies connected with several-day conferences and fairs.

Stadthalle Rostock

• The Rostock Civic Centre is a renowned event centre in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania hosting conferences and conventions with over 1000 participants.
• The largest hall can accommodate approx. 2,100 participants in conference layout. Spacious foyers with a gross area of approx. 2,850 m² complement the halls, providing ample space for accompanying exhibitions.
• Located directly in the city of Rostock on the south side of the Rostock central train station, the nearness to the city centre and to its hotels provide the advantage of location of the Civic Centre, in which world famous stars and ensembles have performed, and national and international conferences have been held.

HanseMesse Rostock

• The HanseMesse Rostock with its fascinating architectural ensemble of glass, wood and concrete located on the park grounds of the IGA 2003, the international horticulture exhibition, is the fair centre for the federal state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
• The location of the fair centre at the Baltic Sea enables fantastic possibilities for accompanying programmes such as a beach party in Warnemünde watching the sun set on the sea, a boat tour of the harbour on the Warnow river and Baltic Sea complete with freshly smoked fish, or a walk on the beach looking for hagstones.
